Previcox is a veterinary prescription non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to control pain and inflammation due to osteoarthritis in dogs. Osteoarthritis is a painful condition caused by "wear and tear" of cartilage and other parts of the joints that may result in the following changes or signs in your dog: Limping or lameness. Decreased activity or exercise (reluctant to stand, climb stairs, jump or run, or difficulty in performing these activities) Stiffness or decreased movement of joints. Indications: For the control of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis in dogs. Dosage and Administration: Previcox should be administered orally at a dose of 5.0 mg/kg (2.27 mg/lb) body weight daily. Refer to package insert for full product information.
